DEVELOP A BIBLICAL WELLNESS TEAM
Building a ministry team requires prayerful planning, a clear vision, and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment. Once you find passionate individuals, use your passion, knowledge, and love for Biblical Wellness to build a team which will work together and encourage each other on the wellness journey. This is done by providing ongoing training, keeping them engaged through consistent communication, and maintaining a culture of support and accountability through biblical leadership. These actions will create a team that will work wholeheartedly with you to fulfill its mission to help others become both physically and spiritually healthy through the study of God’s Word. Aligning your team’s efforts with biblical principles ensures that your ministry reflects God’s love and purpose, making a meaningful impact in your church and your community.
Build a passionate, effective
biblical wellness team
1. Pray for Guidance as you begin to build your team.
Prayer should always be our first course of action. As you begin this wonderful and exciting journey, make sure to first spend time with the Lord asking for wisdom and direction.
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God—who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly—and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. to ask God for wisdom, and He will give it generously. James 1:5
2. Decide Your Vision.
Define a clear vision and mission for your Biblical Wellness Ministry.
Without revelation people run wild, but one who listens to instruction will be happy. Proverbs 29:18
3. Search for those who want to be on mission with you
Finding others to come alongside you will help your ministry thrive. Everyone has different God-given gifts. Bringing those gifts together will help you minister to a greater number of people.
Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different ministries, but the same Lord. And there are different activities, but the same God activates each gift in each person. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
4. Provide Training and Development
A wealth of resources that you would need for training can be found at thebiblicalnutritionist.com and biblicalwellnessministry.com.
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15
5. Keep Your Team Engaged
Maintain enthusiasm and commitment with your team through regular engagement and encouragement. This can be accomplished through phone calls, text messages, and regular team meetings.
And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25
